Lab Locations
If you have been instructed to obtain lab studies for your child, most services can be provided by Memorial Healthtech Laboratories. They have one facility conveniently located on the4th floor of our building, open Monday-Friday during regular business hours (closed for lunch). Other facilities, including some with Saturday hours, can be found on thislist. Sometimes, based on your insurer, your doctor may direct you to go to a Quest Diagnostics or Unilab facility instead. A site locator for Quest Diagnostics can be foundhere. On rare occasions when a study needs to be done after-hours or on a Sunday, your doctor will direct you to the1st floor of Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. When you arrive at the lab, there is an on-call phone, located just outside their waiting room door, for you to call for someone to assist you.
Your doctor will provide you a lab prescription to present at your selected facility, and we will have already discussed with you how and when you will be informed of your lab results. If for any reason you haven't heard from our office by the stated time, or you have any questions regarding your results, please call our office.
